Responsibilities:

• Perform oil changes, tire rotations, balancing of tires and battery testing
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance
• Makes accurate use of the multi-point inspection form on each vehicle
• Utilizes product and technical training as assigned by the manufacturer and management
• Must be at least eighteen years of age
• Must continue Honda Training
• Must have a valid driver's license

Body Shop Technician

Full-Time

Rock County Honda is seeking an experienced individual in the Body Shop industry, who takes pride in their work and is committed to providing excellent customer service in a busy work environment we have a job for you. Pay is based on experience.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Thoroughly examine vehicle damage and participate in an effective repair plan meeting
• Return vehicle back to factory specifications according to repair plan
• Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical, and hydraulic window-and seat-operating equipment, and trim to gain access to vehicles body
• Fill depressions with body filler and ensure quality repair
• Able to remove damaged parts using power tools
• Bolt or weld replacement parts using power tools and welding equipment
• Measure and straighten bent auto mobile frame using frame rack and measuring system
• File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces, using power tools and hand tools
• Aim headlights, bleed hydraulic brake system, and pre & post scan complication
• R&I/R&R body panels
• Make cosmetic repairs according to repair plan
• Use special equipment to restore damaged metal frames and body sections back to original specifications

Experience:

• Effective communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills required
• Self-managed
• Ability to work in a high performance, fast-paced environment
• Excellent problem-solving skills required
• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record as determined by Rock County Honda
